The Multidimensionality of Trust

It took awhile, life is like that, yet in October 2023, a PhD 450 page thesis was submitted for examination. In November the Doctor of Philosophy degree was awarded in the Faculty of Business, Law and Arts; School of Business and Tourism; Information Technology. The thesis extended previous honours research.
Through a pragmatic methodology the research sought to understand and examine what important multidimensional trust factors influence location-based services (LBS) mobile app adoption. Embarking upon a PhD is not a solo journey. Many thanks must go to Michael's entire family, friends, colleagues and supervisors. Dr Simon Wilde, Dr Bill Smart, Dr Golam Sorwar and Dr Vinh Bui made up the amazing and supportive research supervisory, team spanning six years.
A special thanks to Simon and Bill who were there at the beginning of Michael's Honours project, through to his PhD. Also thanks to Michael's highly underpaid research assistant, Clare Bryant who among many other tasks, tirelessly and repeatedly proof read the thesis.
Finally kudos to the late Dr George Coles, artist, academic, programmer, and web developer, to name but a few within his vast skillset. A kind, peaceful and generous soul who touched many lives for the better.
